Sending & Receiving Crypto Safely (PRC Wallet)
Learn how to send and receive crypto with clear fee prompts, ENS and QR support, and safety checks in a non-custodial wallet. Covers gas fees, addresses, and common pitfalls.

Supported Networks
PRC Wallet supports major EVM chains like Ethereum, Arbitrum, and BNB Chain, plus select non‑EVM networks. Always choose the correct network before sending.
Network mismatch: Sending to an address on the wrong network can result in loss. Double‑check chain and token standards.
Fees & Gas
- Gas is paid in the network’s native coin (e.g., ETH on Ethereum, BNB on BNB Chain).
- PRC estimates gas automatically; raise for urgency or lower for cost savings.
- Keep a small native balance for approvals and token transfers.
Tip: Check each network’s explorer gas tracker before urgent transfers.
Addresses & ENS
- Support for copying/pasting addresses and scanning QR codes.
- ENS names resolve to addresses on Ethereum mainnet only; verify the result.
- Some chains (e.g., XRP/XLM) use Destination Tag/Memo. EVM tokens typically do not.
Transactions
- Always test with a small amount when using a new address.
- Review recipient and amount; confirm chain and token standard.
- Track status on the network explorer with the transaction hash.
Permissions note: For token approvals and dApps, see dApp Permissions.
Safety
Test send: Send a small amount first to validate the address.
Approvals: Revoke risky approvals regularly. Learn more in dApp Permissions.
Step-by-Step
- 1) Enter recipientPaste address or scan QR. For ENS, type the name and confirm the resolved address.
- 2) Set amount and gasChoose token and amount. Review gas estimate; adjust for speed if needed.
- 3) Review and sendConfirm chain, token standard, and fees, then submit and track on the explorer.
Troubleshooting
- Pending tx: Increase gas or speed up; check the explorer.
- Wrong network: Switch to the correct chain; tokens may not appear cross‑chain.
- Not enough gas: Ensure a small native coin balance for fees (ETH/BNB/etc.).
